Who is Teamtastic for?

Startups and small remote teams who want tasks, time off, messaging, wiki, and meetings in one workspace instead of five separate tools.

Does Teamtastic replace Slack, Asana, and Notion?

For many small teams, yes. Messaging includes channels and direct messages with rich text formatting, emoji reactions, message editing, file and image sharing, pinned messages, in-channel search, and inline threads — the features small teams actually use in Slack. You also get a team kanban board with an org-wide work pool, and a searchable wiki, all in one place so conversations stay tied to the work.

How is Teamtastic different from Asana, ClickUp, or Monday?

Teamtastic is narrower on purpose. You get boards, list, timeline, and calendar views for tasks, plus time off, messages, wiki, and scheduled calls. It is meant to replace a whole stack, not add another tool to it.

How does time off work?

Directors configure leave types and balances. People submit requests from Team → Time off. Managers approve or deny from the inbox or Today. Everyone sees who is out on the team calendar.

Does it integrate with Zoom and Google Meet?

Yes, with saved URLs. Each person can paste a personal Zoom or Google Meet link in their profile, and Directors can set an org-wide default. Scheduled calls reuse the saved link. There is no calendar OAuth or auto-created calendar events. On Team plan you can also forward email into tasks, and Business plan adds incoming webhooks (GitHub, Sentry, Railway, and generic JSON) and outgoing webhooks.

Can I send files and images in messages?

Yes. Attach files via the paperclip icon or drag and drop onto the composer. Images render inline in the message bubble; other files appear as download cards. Up to 5 files per message, 10 MB per file. Supported formats include PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, PDF, Word, Excel, plain text, CSV, Markdown, and ZIP. Files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with time-limited signed download URLs.

Can I migrate from another tool?

You can export tasks and people as CSV from Settings → Tools & exports. For help moving from Slack, Asana, Notion, or ClickUp, email sales@teamtastic.net.

Is my data secure?

Workspaces are invite-only by default with organization-scoped data. We use industry-standard authentication, TLS in transit, and signed URLs for file downloads. See the Security page for more detail.

Do I need to invite my whole team right away?

No. Start with yourself or a co-founder. Invites are email-based, expire for security, and accounts are locked to the invited address.

Does Teamtastic work on mobile?

Yes. Teamtastic is a progressive web app. Add it to your home screen on iOS or Android for push notifications when you opt in.

What does the AI actually do?

AI is opt-in and tied to specific actions: daily brief narrative, drafting task descriptions and wiki pages, summarizing threads, suggesting replies, explaining at-risk tasks, generating task handover notes, and Ask in the command palette. There is no always-on chatbot sidebar.

How much does it cost?

The Free plan includes up to 10 members, 1 team, 10 wiki docs, 1 GB storage, 50 AI messages per month, and Zoom and Meet links. Team is $29/month (up to 15 members, +$5 per extra seat) and unlocks projects, PTO, Friction Score, automation rules, and inbound email-to-task. Business is $59/month (up to 50 members) and adds Custom Fields, Custom Roles, Audit Log, incoming and outgoing webhooks, and advanced automation. Enterprise is custom-priced with unlimited seats, custom integrations, and a dedicated success manager. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Team and Business plans include a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your workspace converts to a paid subscription automatically. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings during the trial at no charge.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a full refund on your first charge if you request it within 7 days of being billed and your workspace has been in use for fewer than 15 days in total since it was created (trial days count). This means that even if you forgot to cancel during your free trial, you still have 7 days after your first charge to claim a refund. To request one, email hello@teamtastic.net with your workspace name and registered email address.

Can I self-host Teamtastic?

The product is built on PostgreSQL and Next.js, so self-hosting is technically possible. Contact sales@teamtastic.net if you need that arrangement.
